My turn now. XD
Well, it was basically a football manga. I didn't think I'd like it. But I was sooo drawn in towards it.
And then got addicted and obsessed. Especially over Hiruma. Which is totally WTF.

But IMO, ending was pretty crappy and kind of ruined the rest of it, but the manga itself is good. It has good characterization. The plot's very nice, and it has a mix of failure and success for the characters that keep you in suspense. But like other sports manga, it'll take young children, somewhere around the middle/high school ages and make them into super sports athletes. So it doesn't make sense at times.

But overall, it's really good. I highly recommend it.

But did anyways else read it? Let's discuss. >=)

I've only seen the ads for it when I buy manga from under Viz SJ line. I've heard it was pretty good though.

Sports anime/manga have pretty much been a genre I avoid though. I may have to try it out online to sample it.

I think I already mentioned this, but I'll only read online if it's to catch up with it as it comes out in Japan. Or to sample it. Either way though, I'll be sure to check it out.

How was the anime? Was it craptastic, or halfway decent, or good, or what?
