^ Spellcheck This election had one of the highest voter turnouts ever. 130 million voters, jammed into 7000 polling stations. Obama won by a surprising amount, winning previously republican strongholds. Raising taxes is pretty much unavoidable in the current financial climate. The government needs that money to provide all it's services (which trust me are essential), and it's not getting as much as it used to. McCain would have done it too. Anyway, it's hard to tell how Obama will affect the economy. Let us just hope he doesn't repeat the mistakes that led us into this mess.

That abandoned him as a child. I doubt he has ant strong feeling to be like his father in that matter. ^ Spellcheck This election had one of the highest voter turnouts ever. 130 million voters, jammed into 7000 polling stations. rofl, political fail. And if your talking about Ayers,(which he's not related to) he was very, very young at the time. Thats like me calling you a terrorist, because your classmate's cousin is a terrorist. (which sadly, under the Bush adminastation, such things have been done) Obama is going to be a hell lot better for this country then McCain would ever be.

Just the people making 150k or more. Originally it was 250, then 200, then Biden said it was 150. And then he will give it to welfare. Which is socialism at its core. Its unjust to raise taxes for prople already paying 37% income taxes to give to people who don't work. Don't get me wrong, not everyone who recieves welfare is is lazy, but too many are. Yeah, I don't agree with welfare, unless the person has a proven reason. And the 250k bracket tax increase would affect ONLY 5%, ya know, 15 MILLION FRICKEN PEOPLE. But it went to 150k, so who knows the number of people will have to pay more oney to the government. I plan on going into a multibillion dollar industry out of college, so I'm pissed. And I disagree with his stance on abortion, and gun laws.

Its not welfare cause its not going to non-workers. And honestly, don't read a whole lot into what Biden says, Biden does what Bidens wants, which is usually talk T.T So basically your saying as a man you have the right to decide for a woman, every woman, who you have no connection with, whose your sister, in something you could possibly have no expierence in? You get the right to make THAT choice FOR them? [/stealingandcolloingdownDeatharguement] And Sarah Palin is a complete idiot. She letts her daughter choose, but wants to choose for all the daughters of America. (as long as you mentiong Biden, I might as well put this in) Gun Control...I don't agree with either canidate....You look at a place like Philidelphia and you think MORE gun control, and then you look at a place like Washington D.C. and think LESS gun control....I personally think its should be decideable by the area, but if I'd have to pick I'd probably pick stricter gun control, just cause I'd go with that for cities that are by. Fortunaly I live in a safe town so I don't really care ^_^ But I got what your saying, you like the idea of taxing health care, making it harder to get, going out of state for it, eh? unless you live in Arizona. Just for the record I don't live in Illnois, and have never been to Chigaco. You think gays aren't people do yea? Go out an attack one, then when your in jail you'll find out they charged you with assult not animal abuse.

I never said that I didn't think gays are people, I never once mentioned gays. And second, who says that the woman has the choice to decide whether an innocent life lives or dies. Shouldn't we ask the baby, but wait! Babies can't give opinions, so I guess that makes them the property of the woman and nothing more. And I'm sure the man has NOTHING to do with the creation of the baby. I just think that its immoral and ridiculous to kill a child.
About guns though, wouldn't you think that if everyone could own a gun, crime would go down. Are you gonna rob someone who might have a gun or someone who doesn't? Don't forget the constitution, we have the right to bear arms, making any law against carrying, or owning a gun null and void.
Abouot welfare. It would be alright if you could garuntee that a person who gets welfare needs it. Say, between jobs, as long as they are searching for a job. But its easy to say you are searching even if you aren't.
NEW TAX LAW:
FLAT TAX RATE, no more tax brackets. This eliminates possible loopholes and makes the whole process easier.

A baby =/= bundle of cells. Do you believe it immoral to abort in the case of pregnancy by ****? Or in the case that a pregnancy threatens the mothers life? These are extreme examples, but often times a pregnancy will make life harder for everyone, including the potential child. Of course this is an issue where your principles have to guide you. But surely it's the mother's principles that matter, not yours, not some preists, not some middle-aged politician. More guns equals less shootings? I don't see that logic at all. The constitution does state the right to bear arms, but surely you see the need for some gun control? In the case of felons and mentally unstable? Welfare money is pretty terrible. Pretty much any job will get you far more. I'd like to see the person living on it purely by choice

Damn you Leonri stealing my spotlight *shakes fist* =P The only thing I'd like to add, is flat tax rates greatly advantage the rich over the poor.

Then you must believe it moral for a woman to raise the child of a man that raped her. Have you ever watched a Korean drama? Have you seen the ones where there's a guy from a rich family, and the woman is some poor person? They're in love, but the rich guy's family doesn't want them to marry? They somehow end up with a baby, and the man's family wants the baby erased? Other than that, there are situations where they want to break up, but the woman is pregnant. Sometimes the man tells the woman to get an abortion. Do you automatically think that the man never takes part in the decision of an abortion? -.- And Leonri: For pregnancies that endanger the life of the woman, sometimes, the woman would want to keep that baby. What they would do is they would probably remove the child from the mother's womb, and attempt to put the child under incubation. Like chick eggs. It only works sometimes though, in situations where the child is old enough that it can survive outside of the mother's womb... but better alternative than abortion I think. Sometimes more guns can be less shooting, in the fact that a robber or just anyone in general would be less likely to attack another knowing that the other person is equally likely to be carrying a gun. >_> Ew, flat rate tax. CURVES I SAY, CURVESSS.

How would a flat tax rate be unfair? [EXAMPLE] You make 30,000 a year and say a flat tax of 10%. You pay 3000 in taxes and you are done. Thay guy makes 300,000 a year and pays what you make. 30,000. How is that unfair? Have you ever watched a Korean drama? Nope, I have not. And if a woman is raped, then there is no reason she can't give the child away for adoption if she doesn't want it. For pregnancies that endanger the woman, other options should be looked for first, then the baby may be aborted, but only in the last case. For guns, in the case of the mentally unstable or prone to anger, there can be tests in order to test whether you can be trusted by the general public not to go crazy and shoot everyone.
