What about the fact that most parents would be willing to die to save their children? That hinders the process of keeping the species going, considering a child left alone is less likely to survive, and the mother could yet bear more children. Also, what about our natural inborn tendancy toward violence? Some have it more strongly than others (road rage, anyone?), but everyone has it.

Hmm, maybe I should join the said religion debate.

But love... hmmm, well from a rational viewpoint, it would seem that love is a reaction from hormones that are stimulated by someone's senses. i.e. eyesight or sound.

But from a philosophy standpoint love can be any number of things. It can be infatuation, the urge to be with someone at all times, caring for someone so much you would give your life for that person.

Love is a broad topic, so its kind of hard. XD
