Pretty close. A couple of changes is the S-Support,each character having a unique weapon, temporary characters, and a chapter where you play as Daein(normally you're the Crimean Resistance in the Mad King's War, read the topic if you want to learn the story.

How about a choice form the beggining. Say, you can choose what country you want to start as and start it from the very begginging, so include micro-managing. Or a country creator system. Either Beorc or Laguz and hire workers, etc. Make a giant overworld, possibly of Tellius before or directly after the flood. Then you can make treaties with others or fight them. Can be asked or ask for assitance from allies in time of war. This is just building on the RTW or MTW. Or make it civ-esque.

Interesting idea. Perhaps you could choose to start either at the begining like you said for that, and then there could be to choose certain parts of Tellius's history, and then you would already start with alliances and buildings and crap like that.

So like an option to choose when you start, like in increments or in specific events? And you should be able to take the story beyond Radiant Dawn.

Yup, I was thinking all of those. It would be kind of lame if you couldn't see what would happen if Skrimir hadn't attacked Zelgius and the Laguz Alliance had continued its charge or trying to win the Mad Kings War in different events than PoR.
