I'm hoping Nintendo will keep the Metroid franchise up and not end it after MP3. I do believe though that Nintendo may be working on another 2-D Metroid adventure.

One thing is for sure, if Nintendo did end the Metroid franchise....there would be alot of angry Metroid fans. I'd be one of them. But I do believe Nintendo won't let that happen.

The Prime series is over - that was a trilogy - but metroid isn't over it'd be like ending Zelda >.<

Prime was a trilogy, but they made Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime Pinball so there could be others wth "prime" in the title.

Hunters and Pinball were sub-games to the Prime series as they did not follow the story line to the Prime games. However, seeing how the Prime series has come to a close, I do believe Nintendo may have something up their sleeve more for Metroid.

I think that Retro studios will make a new game from ******SPOILER********* - the end of Prime 3.
After that, there will probably be a few new metroid games but they will change how it is played a bit.

Well I got to say this.Some people out there fully underdestimate Metroid.Think of it logically Metroid vs. Halo="Stupid" vs. "Ultra-Cool-Game" I hate that you know I don't care if anyone calls Metroid stupid.It will be the most cool game that I ever played here in this life.
