I am quite fond of the Super Smash Bros games as they revolutionized the way we look at fighting games. The itmes, characters and stages were alot to choose from and the wacky battles that you could have were endless. I'm looking very forward to when Brawl will come out as that will be the best of them yet. You can come here to discuss the game, what you liked in it, what you thought should have been added and overall how much you like the game.
My favorite character overall would be Yoshi. Sure he seems weak and he can only jump twice, but his flutter kicks make him dangerous. Why, they can rack up alot of damage in just a single attack. If you know how to use Yoshi right, he can be a lethal fighter. Just press the A and down on the control stick and you'll see why.
My favorite arena overall would be the Great Temple from Melee. The possibilites of a crazy, widespread battle were endless. Its also fun fighting down below the arena as if you have high damage and get knocked hard, you'll have a better chance of surviving.
What are your opinions or likes or dislikes of these games?

I read on Nintendo's main site for Brawl that they have installed an arena maker. It allows you to create your own stage and use it to host battles. Thats going to be interesting being able to use your own stage to fight on.

Well it's going to be a tad unfair since the person who made it has the advantage...
I'd better try and get my Wii to connect to my internet, it won't work still.

I can't get mine to work for internet either. Its nice they've added the internet gameplay that way you have others to play against when your friends aren't at your house.

Yeah, it's great but then again people you don't know personally can be very annoying. So probably it's still the best with your friends, but it sure is a nice option.

it's acually should be really easy to connect to the internet, don't know why you're having troubles. Anyway after seeing some gameplay with Sonic I can't wait to use him, he looks like he really flows!!! I'd use Sonic then Marth (I guarentee he'll be in) then Meta knight or Ike And what's great about the stage editor is you get a stage everyday!

Melee is the only one I ever played. I won't get Brawl though, as I don't want a Wii.

You're on a pretty much all nintendo forum - and don't want a wii their latest system But I think brawl alone would make the wii worth it. Heck (yes I have one) wii sports makes the wii worth it.

If the Wii wasn't so expensive and had games on it that appeal to me, I would consider it. I like my DS anyway. Even though I have three games for it.
